Healthcare Design and Build Project in West Yorkshire
The Project
Pacy and Wheatley undergo a new Design and Build project in West Yorkshire. We are delighted to have been appointed by our new client - Cygnet Healthcare Limited, to develop this project from planning to resident occupation. The site is very tight for space, with shared access to the hospitals daily operation functions. Enabling works to relocate services are required, prior to a piled foundation solution, together with a part basement construction to provide plant space and fire escape routes. Superstructure is to be timber frame, giving the client a much improved construction program, enabling earlier revenue streams from their capital investment.
The Challenge
Completing the complicated design process in relatively short time frame.
Ensuring that works in and around the occupied hospital are undertaken with no negative impact or disruption to the residents and staff, with fundamental focus on maintaining the security of existing residents.
Ensuring daily communications with the Hospital management team to identify all aspects of their daily concerns and ensure control measures have been put in place.
